Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Which furniture surfaces can I use this on?
A: The description lists polyester, cotton, and acrylic fabrics. Do not use it on leather, faux leather, velvet, or microfiber. Test an inconspicuous area first; surface finishes and fabric condition can affect compatibility.

Q: Does this stop my cat from scratching?
A: It creates a physical barrier over covered areas rather than guaranteeing a change in behavior. Offer a separate suitable scratching surface and reward your cat for using it.

Q: How do I install the shields?
A: Confirm the attachment method for your selected option first, because the original title and description conflict. The description instructs trimming as needed, peeling the backing, and pressing firmly onto a compatible surface. Add twist pins only where appropriate and follow the package instructions.

Q: What comes with each option?
A: The 12-Pack + 50 Pins option includes six large sheets, six extra-large sheets, and 50 twist pins. The other option is labeled as an uncut 118-inch roll; do not assume it includes pins or the same sheet sizes.

Q: Would this make a useful gift for a cat owner?
A: It can be a practical housewarming or holiday gift for someone with compatible upholstered furniture. Check their furniture material and coverage needs before choosing the sheet set or roll.

Q: Will removal leave residue or marks?
A: The description presents the protector as designed to minimize residue, but clean removal is not guaranteed on every surface. Follow the package removal instructions, test first, and use pins cautiously because they can leave holes. Keep loose pins and backing away from pets and children.
